The Garden Gal, May 7, 2011 — Master gardener and certified arborist, Debbie Cook, tells us that the average and typical last frost is coming up on May 10th. But she cautions to still be careful with tender vegetables like beans and tomatoes along with your squash. When the soil is cold, peppers can be stunted and might not produce, so pay attention to the weather. Debbie informs us it is also time to get your sprinklers ready to go and of course there are rhubarb questions answered.
