The D&B Garden Show

The Garden Gal, February 19, 2011 — Master gardener and certified arborist, Debbie Cook, speaks with Boise’s City Forester Brian Jorgenson, “because a couple times a year it seems like people really can’t help themselves. They have to go out and cut things or plant things, and that’s really wonderful, but we want to make sure that they do it right.”

The Garden Gal, February 12, 2011 — Debbie Cook, the Garden Gal, is a master gardener and certified arborist. Each and every week, Debbie takes questions about gardening, plant and lawn care, and all things horticultural. This week, with some warmer weather, Debbie encouraged listeners to examine their perennials, other plants, and trees since this is a good time of year to do some basic yard or garden preparation. Also, if you still have leaves on the yard or, perhaps, even still on trees thanks to how the winter came last year, it is time to clean things up. Debbie also talks about spraying.  “Lots of think to think about this time of year.”
